11th Annual Eastern Auditory Retreat

The 11th Annual Eastern Auditory Retreat (EAR) will be held in the Room 1140 Plant Sciences on University of Maryland College Park campus. This is a regional meeting whose mission is to promote collaboration and cooperation between auditory research labs that are reasonably close to each other. Past meetings in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Maryland have had attendees spanning the region from Maryland to Boston.
The meeting has settled into a format of brief talks by senior graduate students and post docs, with PIs providing introduction and moderation. One presentation per group works well. The day will be wrapped up by the keynote speaker, Dr. Barbara Shinn-Cunningham of Boston University.
